Infrastructure role in manufacturing sector. Notable accomplishments include: Spearheading the development of a robust Azure environment; Led the provisioning and management of Path’s AWS EC2 instances which led to enhanced performance and cost efficiency; Collated the companies IAM and SAML under OKTA; Engineered the companies first and only backup/disaster recovery and imaging solution using FOG and Macrium Reflect; Created custom linux kernel and modified Linux OS to improve their previous manufacturing technology stack. I also created a local dev environment using Vmware vSphere to lower AWS EC2 costs

Remote DevOps role with a primary focus on the design, implementation, and integration of infrastructure solutions. I was part of a key project that began integrating SCCM with Intune and later on prem AD to Azure AD to create a hybrid platform for five 9s high availability. The scope of my work expanded to support Linux, Citrix VDI, Cisco ISE, and cloud security tools like Crowdstrike. Additionally, I automated software deployment and troubleshooting processes using Sysinternals, Nirsoft, and W3CC, ensuring seamless operation within an Azure-connected environment.

As head of IT, I was responsible for the management, strategy, and execution of IT infrastructure. Notable accomplishments include: Implementing a Software Development Life Cycle using Windows Configuration Manager and Wix toolset for customized application sets. Also migrated the company’s core infrastructure from Microsoft to Linux and automated many processes previously performed manually by creating a number of bash and python scripts.

(Contract) This unique role involved the automation and deployment of new software and updates in a restaurant environment. Integrated Intune with existing SCCM infrastructure to enable better software deployment and management of NCR Aloha POS and subsystems. Powershell was extensively used to create install scripts and manage processes, while Intune was leveraged for managing off-domain devices through cloud-based policies. For non-domain joined devices, I introduced Sysinternals Suite, heavily using PsExec, PsKill, and PsService, all managed and monitored through Azure.

Managed Services role for which I was brought on for several projects including: migrating Microsoft Exchange to Office 365 for several of their clients, and integrating Azure AD for management and security. Other projects had me focused on designing and implementing Intune policies for existing hybrid environments, ensuring device compliance. Yet another project I succeeeded at involved creating automations for software deployment using PowerShell and SysInternals suite. And lastly, I architected the building and deployment of a hybrid Microsoft Server Environment for a unique client with special requirements.

(Contract)MSP needed help with a few projects including Exchange to Office 365 migration, with Azure integration for IAP. Another project involved condensing Microsoft and Linux Server infrastructure from Physical to Virtual environments within Hyper-V and VMware. I completed projects ahead of schedule so I helped other clients by Configuring network infrastructure, deploying VPN terminations using Azure VPN Gateway, and provided end-user support via Centrastage for remote management. Before leaving, I automated several tasks for them using powershell, and standing up Azure for cloud-based monitoring and management. 

(Contract) Enterprise Level Support - Day to day activities include Mainframe support, Active Directory Administration, Lotus Notes support and configuration, and tracking incidents threw ServiceNow. Other duties include MS Exchange administration, Oracle Database support, Citrix application administration, VPN implementation, Server Builds and Patching, and SCCM automation.

Lead IT role supporting clients in an educational environment. Responsibilities include End User support, MS Server 2008 administration, Network troubleshooting, Workstation imaging using FOG. R & D included setting up content filtration for schools, migrating computers from Windows XP to Windows 7 due to EOL support for XP.
